1894 S Barber Dime
In 1893, Augustus G. Heaton, a wonderful artist with a keen interest in numismatics, published his Treatise on Mint Marks. At that time, “CC” meant Carson City, Nevada, where there was a mint that operated from 1870 to 1893.
